The Mission: To ensure that all security personnel are trained to handle a weapon and use it when necessary, in a safe and efficient manner, for the protection of life and property in their line of duty.
With the recent fiasco at Resorts World, the challenge now lies heavily on security agencies in the Philippines, to prove that security guards are equipped with the necessary skills when confronted by crime and violence.
USAI, a security agency that values excellence and continuous learning, quickly responded to this challenge by ensuring that all its personnel across the Philippines will be trained on how to use a firearm.
Organized by VP for Operations, Choco Ocampo, the first batch started training at the ISG / Marines Firing Range in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City this morning. Conducting the Firearm Proficiency & Safety Training are PPSA Accredited Range Officers.
The training will be given to all USAI personnel across the Philippines and will last until August.
Each attendee was given personal instructions by the range officers, and an opportunity for some hands-on weapons training, to familiarize themselves with the handling of a firearm. With this training, all security guards will KNOW how to use one, when the situation calls for it in their line of duty.
Aside from the added skill this training offers its security guards, the get together is the perfect opportunity for team building. The event was fully attended by the USAI Support Team, VP for Operations, and Health and Safety Director, Crisanto Babiera, to familiarize the guards on who's who, ensuring them of the company's full support.

What better way to form a connection than to eat together? So, a Boodle Fight was prepared for everyone who attended.
As they say, "A family that eats together, stays together!" And that has always been the way Urvan Security Agency has treated its employees, as family.
Watch this space for more updates as the next batch of training happens.
